Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we, the Liberal Democracy Movement, collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit our site or contact us. We are the data controller for your information. For any questions, you can reach us using the details on our Contact page.

What data we collect

We only collect what you actively give us:

• Newsletter: your e-mail address, when you subscribe. • Contact form: your name, e-mail address and message. • Technical: basic server logs (IP address, browser type) kept temporarily by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use tracking or advertising technologies and we do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use your data

We use your data only to: send you the newsletter you asked for; reply to your messages; and keep the site secure. Our legal basis is your consent (for the newsletter) and our legitimate interest in responding to you and protecting the site. We never sell your data.

Cookies

We use only strictly necessary cookies:

• An admin session cookie — set only for our administrators when they log in; never for visitors. • A language-preference cookie — remembers whether you chose TR, EN, EL or RU.

Because we use no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies, no cookie-consent pop-up is required. If we add analytics in the future, we will ask for your consent first.

Sharing and service providers

We do not share your personal data with third parties for their own use. We rely on trusted service providers who process data only on our behalf:

• Vercel — website hosting (EU region). • Turso — database hosting (EU region).

These providers process data under their own security and privacy commitments.

How long we keep your data

We keep your newsletter e-mail until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep contact messages only as long as needed to handle your request. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and applicable laws (such as KVKK), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details on our Contact page and we will respond promptly.

Contact and changes

If you have questions about this policy or your data, please reach us through our Contact page. This policy may be updated from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
